Watchlist

Nothing on this page is the machine's. Somebody chose these five sellers, these words and these aisles, somebody wrote each rule that is allowed to interrupt a person, and somebody said which lines were noise. What the matcher does with all of it is underneath, with the evidence, so a decision can be argued with rather than trusted.

What is watched

Chosen by a person, paid for by the person who chose it.

  • 5

    Sellers watched

Their whole catalogue on every shelf they stand on, not a handful of products.

  • 342

    Listings walked every morning

Across 4 marketplaces: Trendyol, Hepsiburada, N11, Amazon.

  • 10

    Words ranked

3 pages of results each, at the same minute every morning.

  • 5

    Aisles read on a Monday

Bestseller lists and seller counts. They do not move enough to be worth a daily read.

  • 2

Shelves we sell on and cannot watch

Pazarama and PttAVM: our own price and stock come off the seller API, and nobody has written the competitor-side crawler. The module says so rather than implying coverage it does not have.

The list is small on purpose. Every word costs three pages of crawling a day and every rival costs their whole catalogue; the person who pays for it is the person who set it.

How a match was established decides what it may do

This is the module's one opinion and it is not a setting. An exact barcode is the only thing that produces certainty, so it is the only thing allowed to wake somebody up — a rule can ask for an identical match 8 per cent under our price, and no rule anywhere in this module can be configured to let a likeness do the same. A comparable match informs a band and the briefing. A candidate becomes a question and is not priced against, in either direction: it cannot claim we carry something and it cannot claim we do not.

  • Identical

    • Appear in the morning briefing as a fact
    • Nothing is withheld from a barcode. It is the same object in two shops.

Same barcode on both shelves. It is one object in two shops, so its price is your price with a different sticker.

  • Comparable
    • Count inside a price band
    • Appear in the morning briefing as a fact
    • Ring a phone at eleven at night

Same shape, different roaster. It belongs in a band and in the morning list, and it may not raise an alert on its own — a rival's roast is not your product. The band moving is a fact about the market; one bag is not.

    • Become a question for a person
    • Ring a phone at eleven at night
    • Count inside a price band

Nothing of ours looks like this. It can only be read as something we do not carry.

Comparable needs 80 per cent agreement on what a title can prove; below 45 per cent there is no relationship at all. Roasted coffee is capped at 92 per cent however well the words line up, because two roasters are two products.

What the matcher made of the shelf

Every watched listing, by the kind of relationship it has to our catalogue.

  • Candidate · a question for a person

    15946%
  • No match · nothing of ours looks like it

    9728%

Two in three listings are a candidate or nothing at all, and that is the honest shape of this problem: most of what a rival sells is not the thing you sell, however much the words look alike.

The “acts on” column is not a preference. A rule may ask for a weaker match than it is written for and still never fire on one: the engine decides, not the rule.

The matcher, with its working shown

The seller's own name is taken off a title before anything reads it. The crawler has the seller in its own field, so this is removing a known word rather than guessing at one — and without it a shop called Copper Kettle would sell kettles, and every bag they list would come back as equipment.

What was allowed to interrupt somebody

Every alert of the last fortnight, and the verdict the person who got it left afterwards.

This is the only figure the module reports about itself that is not arithmetic. It is a person’s opinion of whether being woken was worth it, and it is the only feedback this department ever gets.

What a reader called noise

In their own words, with the date they said it.

A noise mark sinks that shape of line; it does not delete it. The ranker multiplies the score down and the briefing still prints it, at the bottom, with the mark on it — because a Tuesday opinion is not a permanent law and the morning it matters is the morning somebody wants to see it.

Sample data. The spread, the evidence and every confidence on this page are the matcher's output over all 342 watched listings, run at 2026-09-14. The thresholds, the verdicts and the noise marks are people's.
