Price band
Two stacks, kept apart on purpose. The first is the same object in several shops, matched on a barcode, and it can be compared to the lira. The second is other roasters' coffee in the same shape, which belongs beside ours and not on the same line as it.
Of the 15 products with enough of a market around them to draw a band, 7 sit outside theirs this morning, and ₺1,463,754 of our own sales over the last 28 days sit behind those. Nothing follows from that on its own: being the dearest shelf is a position, not a mistake, and this module has never changed a price to fix one.
An identical band
Matched on a barcode.
The same object, made by the same factory, sold by several shops under one barcode. A grinder is a grinder. Here a comparison is exact to the lira, it is the only kind of row allowed to raise an alert on somebody's phone, and a gap of ten per cent means what it says.
A comparable band
Matched on a title, and only ever a comparison.
Two bags of Ethiopia Yirgacheffe from two roasteries are the same kind of coffee and not the same coffee: different farm, different roast date, different hand on the drum. These bands are worth standing in and they are not an equal sign, so they inform the morning list and they are never allowed to wake anybody up. A match the title could not prove is not in here at all — it is a question on the Watchlist.
Identical: the same object, somewhere else
Equipment, matched by barcode. Our price against every shelf carrying the same thing.

Espresso Blend 1 kg, ninety mornings
Our price against each offer in the band. Nothing here is added together: a price beside a price is a comparison, and a sum of them would be a number about nothing.
The offers behind the band
What each shelf is charging this morning, what its label says, and how long the difference between those two has been running.

In stock or not, and nothing else: no marketplace publishes how deep anybody's shelf is, so this module does not promise a count. A row marked yesterday's came from a shelf that did not answer this morning, and it is in the band with that mark on it rather than quietly left out.
Where it will not draw a band
Fewer than 3 offers and there is no market to average. This list is the honest half of the tab.
| Ours | Our price | Offers | Why there is no band |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ethiopia Yirgacheffe 1 kg | ₺1,480 | 2 | 2 offers is not a market. Three is the least this will average, and it says so rather than quoting a median of 2. |
| Colombia Huila 250 g | ₺390 | 1 | One offer is not a market. Three is the least this will average, and it says so rather than quoting a median of 1. |
| Decaf Colombia 250 g | ₺400 | 0 | No watched seller carries anything comparable. An absence is not a price, and it is not a zero either. |
| Monthly Subscription · 2 × 250 g | ₺690 | 0 | No marketplace sells a subscription, so there is no shelf to read one off. What the others charge for theirs happens on their own sites, and this module does not watch those. |
| Monthly Subscription · 1 kg | ₺1,190 | 0 | No marketplace sells a subscription, so there is no shelf to read one off. What the others charge for theirs happens on their own sites, and this module does not watch those. |
| V60 Starter Set | ₺1,650 | 0 | A bundle we put together ourselves has no market price: nobody else sells this bundle. The parts can be priced; the box cannot. |
| Cold Brew Carafe | ₺890 | 0 | No watched seller carries anything comparable. An absence is not a price, and it is not a zero either. |

Sample data. Every band is built at the morning's snapshot: fewer than three offers and none is drawn, and a row from a shelf that did not answer carries yesterday's price with a mark on it. Our own prices come off the seller APIs, which is the one leg of the round with a contract behind it.
